Long time - no post!
So now that I have more free time on my hands, I guess I can update more often. Found an awesome blog today - hiphostess.blogspot.com. Been playing with it all day. Saw some super cute ideas that would be awesome for my neice's wedding coming up. Been remodeling the house and the yard as well. I love Spring!

Back Again...
Just wanted to make a quick note.
I am a reading and writing teacher. I love doing it, and love finding new things. I also enjoy writing myself. That makes this site I found so awesome. Try it - it is the One Minute Writer.

Ken's Graduation
Ken graduated last night. After 2 years of night school, him running out the door as I run in, he is finally finished. I am proud of him to keep going - so many nights he didn't want to go and I didn't want him to. He would drag himself and go though.
He even wore a tie and dress pants. We have been married 3 years and I have never seen the man dressed up like that before. Looking sharp! If only I can get him to do that again.
Anyway, we move at the end of the month. I am nervous about it, but so glad to get back. The Dallas area has done a number on my health/allergies. I want to see a pine tree again! lol

I was born a redneck
I never realized this until a few years ago. I thought everyone had relatives named Drew Don and Billy Drew. I then discovered that, no, this is only true if you are a hillbilly - a redneck. So now I am returning to my roots and buying a mobile home. I always thought I would never do something like that! We are looking at 2 acres with a doublewide. My doublewide paradise. Well, the land is beautiful and we can build later. I am just so tired of rejection that I am just ready to get everything over with.
Anyway, TAKS is over and just a few more weeks until school is out. I am going to check back into Tyler ISD and try and get back on there... if they still hire rednecks!

Spoiled
I admit it - I am spoiled. I blame my family. Being that baby, I can do that. ;)
We had DSL for sometime, and I loved it. Well, SBC and I had a little disagreement. So, no more DSL. Last night Ken and I broke down and installed dial up again. I begin installing everything on my Fry's rebuilt 399.99 special - Yahoo Messenger, a firewall, and so on. Download time - 45 minutes. What the? How on earth ..... O yeah, I forgot. Dial up sux.

TAKS, TAKS, TAKS and other thoughts
I am so exhausted. We just got back from Spring Break and here we go with the TAKS push. The month of April is going to be stressful. But hey, the doctor pushed up my dosage of Paxil and Diovan. I'm feeling much better now. (Bonus points to anyone who gets that reference.)
We are closing on the 31st of March, finally. I can't wait to get back to East Texas. No more traffic, or at least less. Less smog, calmer students, available sitters, be near family and friends - O, let me count the days.
Any volunteers to help me pack and move? Anyone? Anyone?
